Extra stuff!
Here you'll find links to various things such as videos or audio files that have been shared in class or are pertinent to class content. The beginning of each description will notify you of whether it is in relation to English III or English IV.
ENGLISH IV : "Aint I a Person?" ; this is a documentary we watched concerning poverty in the United States. (The audio gets kind of sketchy in some places.)
ENGLISH IV: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Full Cast Audiobook (1818 version). This is a public-domain audio recording of the text. Don't feel like reading it? No big deal, you can listen to it--from multiple voice actors to help make it less monotonous!
ALL AUDIENCES: This documentary is a brief introduction to the history of this much misunderstood holiday. Enjoy!
ENGLISH III: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, 1954. This audio-book is shared publicly. Don't want to read the book? No problem, you can have it read to you!
ALL AUDIENCES: This is a quick fact-sheet about the Krampus, a somewhat darker spirit of the winter holidays from Europe!
ALL AUDIENCES: This is the video from HCEC's holiday door competition 2015 (about that award...)
ENGLISH III & IV: This is the music video to Keri Hilson's Pretty Girl Rock. The figures represented in the video are the subjects of our research brochure project. Watch, enjoy, and check out some wonderful leading ladies in the entertainment industry throughout the years!
- NOTE: VEVO has blocked their videos from playing on Weebly. However, when you click the video you'll notice a link saying "play on YouTube" and you can find it there.
